Comment on RDP Support by Andrew Carlson https://www.transauth.com/site/rdp-support/#comment-161 Sun, 06 Apr 2014 14:04:40 +0000 https://transauth.com/site/task/rdp-support/#comment-161 I suspect we’ll need to build some support for RDP. This will probably need to work for systems with and without bluetooth.
Currently, I cannot log in to a system with RDP. It does not find the key device. We will either need to trust the key device presence on the local machine, or allow OTP to suffice for a login password.
Let’s discuss this in person after the pilot.

Comment on Jumpnode OS versions by Andrew https://www.transauth.com/site/jumpnode-os-versions/#comment-158 Tue, 11 Feb 2014 21:29:59 +0000 https://transauth.com/site/message/jumpnode-os-versions/#comment-158 I’m being told a closer match to our board in the TS-7260. There may be a few driver differences, but same downloads. Regardless, I think if you can find a vintage copy of Debian Sarge for intel arch, you should be able to start working on the guts of the application. Presumably, the CPU architecture abstract will not affect us as we’re not making this in assembly language 🙂

This post starts with a list of steps and an issue and then people discuss towards a solution. If we’ve to do this then I’ll have to understand what they’re discussing in the solution to implement the correct sequence of steps.

Java, BASIC, TCL, Python and others are also available for Debian, but not installed by default. However, one can easily update the system with the desired software via the apt-get tool.
